Customer feedback generates £1000 for Save The Children
In 2006 Norfolkline carried over 2.0 million passengers on its cross channel & Irish Sea ferry routes.
With these ever increasing traffic numbers listening to our customer and understanding from them how different aspects of our services rate in their eyes is of paramount importance.
In recent months tourist and freight passengers onboard Norfolkline's three purpose-built ferries operating the Dover - Dunkerque route have had the opportunity to let us know how we are doing by completing a customer questionnaire, with a donation of 20p being made by Norfolkline to Save The Children for every completed questionnaire received.
Save the Children is an independent, non profit charity helping children in need by creating lasting change to end child poverty around the world, and Norfolkline's donation was gratefully accepted by Silke Friesendorf of Save The Children's Community Fundraising Team.
In total a Norfolkline donation of £1000 resulted from these questionnaires, with the cheque being presented by Andreas Teschl (Norfolkline's Dover - Dunkerque Route Director) in Dover on July 30th.
Norfolkline will use the customer feedback received to improve the quality of services that it delivers, and will continue to provide feedback questionnaires onboard its cross-channel ferries.
